I am clearing out most of the library of the old Limestone Caving Club, which was active from the early 1960s until the late 1970s.

It's mainly Speleologists from '65 to '69, DCA Newsletters from '66 to '73 and 46 issues of Caves & Caving from No 15 to No 96.
There are gaps in all these series, but if anybody collects these and has missing ones let me know and I will check if I have them.
They are in Sheffield and are free to anybody who wants to collect or arrange caver post.

They will probably be going to the recycling next week.

I have checked the BCL catalogue online and they have copies of everything.

Please can I claim the Speleologists for the NPC library? We have quite a few gaps.

Any duplicates can then go to someone I know in the Northern Dales who is trying to put together a bit of a caving library in that area.

So all copies will end up in good homes.

Any chance you could PM me with contact details? Then I can ask one of our Sheffield based members to sort something out for collection.

Please don't recycle them so soon, give it a few more days for people to spread the word :)
I'm tempted with the C&Cs I think I'll have a fair few already mind.

Morning Chocolate Fireguard,

I’m the other person Pitlamp’s referring to building a library. I can collect the lot if that’s easiest, fill the NPC gaps for pitlamp and then keep any surplus. I can collect from Sheffield in a few weeks, of if you need it gone sooner I should be able to arrange a Sheffield local to take custody for a while.

Cheers,
Chris Curry 👍

Great; you spotted this.

Anyone in the TSG who has noticed my post on that forum asking for help with collection can probably ignore it now.

A few weeks is fine, Chris.
Pitlamp has my address and mobile number, so give me a bell to make sure there's somebody in.
