Parking for Dry Gill

Looking at Street View, the roadside verges closest to Dry Gill cave (just beyond Twisleton Dale House on Scales Moor) have 'No Parking' signs on, but there is some sign that there is (paid for) parking at TD House.
Can anyone with local knowledge advise on the best place to park for an evening trip?
Thanks in advance...

I can confirm you're allowed to park on the grass opposite the farm (NW side of the road) for a small fee. That's the standard parking place for climbers visiting Twistleton Scars.

Don't forget your knee and elbow pads.

It's well worth reading pages 133 to 149 in Harry Long's "Weekend Explorers" book, which tells the take of how Dry Gill Cave was explored.

Thanks Pitlamp. Also thanks to @Alex - your Black Rose report was very helpful finding the entrance (y)
But never mind knee and elbow pads - I should have taken a bucket of KY jelly - I was defeated by the last squeeze before the streamway :(

Sorry you did not fit, wonder if I will still fit.
