Blimey, there's been a lot of Peak rescues in the last 10 years then! Never realised there'd been so many....  :-\

Remenber that... the divers took in hot cans and warm clothing for them initially. The old show cave still had its wooden hand rails in then and I remeber we were "walking" on the rails as we floated in to see if the level had dropped enough, the dive line was srt rope tied off to the old light fittings. The trapped were swum/walked out while I helped tidy up and retrieve stuff from Treasury. The shaft from cave dale entered the flooded section so wasnt useful, besides being a bit awkward as a rescue route

NB - I have slept since then, and memory may a bit fuzzed...
