As many will by now know, sadly Rob Dalby of the CDG and former YSS member has died following a diving accident off the Scilly Isles. He has not yet been located but is not alive.
Rob and myself along with Colin Pryer joined the CDG together almost 20 years ago and he was an active caver and diver in the dales involved with projects such as Malham Cove Risings, Haws Gill Cave as well as foreign trips to Pozu Azul and France.
As a friend, he was one of the very best and I shall miss him.
I will try and share funeral details as and when they are arranged.
My thoughts are with his wife Mel.
