Starless River mobile shop on Mendip

I had a look at Starless for the first time at the weekend at YSS (Dales)
Interesting stuff, some not stocked by other shops and its mobile, so I will occasionally get a broader choice and different views as and when our paths cross. But its only one option and we all know where well established 'fixed' shops are located and when they are open and know we can nip in any time for a chat, advice and gear.

Its a free market and lets not forget the internet also increasingly rules.
I buy off this quite regularly from well known cave shops well away from my London home :)

Without being drawn into the pro's and con's of whichever shop is best, and with the utmost respect for anyone running a shop, isn't this forum for discussion and not for advertising?

Yes I know the threads above are discussing the shop but look at the 1st post - it's more advert than discuss. Having said that there is a commercial website on this particular post but unless you actively click on it you wouldn't know.

Bubba - How about a seperate thread for advertising? maybe a pay-per-post type thing?
