• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Stump Cross remediation works

We have received an outstanding report of recent efforts to make safe and secure several exploration sites near Stump Cross Caverns.

Of course, these sites have always been responsibly maintained, but recent interest from the show cave owners in using the area for children's educational activities has forced even tighter management of these sites. The CNCC is extremely proud to have sponsored this work, particularly when it has been done to such a high standard by such an enthusiastic team. An excellent example of good landowner relations and responsible exploration, which will hopefully help ensure the team are able to continue their search for the undiscovered downstream continuation of the Stump Cross system.
