Thank you HE 2023!

A very successful return for Hidden Earth!

We weren't sure how things would go having not had a hidden earth since 2019 but it was even better than we hoped for! Over 420 weekend ticket sales plus more on the door (final totals are being worked out) - that's more than 2019 and in fact, more than most previous events. Over 50 lectures and workshops which all more or less ran to time. A very popular conference dinner too with 136 delegates.

So many people worked their socks off to make this happen so a massive thank you to everyone - lecturers, traders, clubs, sponsors, tech, admin, catering and of course the delegates. 🥰

The team has learnt a lot and will continue to improve the event. We're excited for next year!

We'd love to see your photos, if you took some, please post them here. Also, please mention if you are happy for them to be used for future Hidden Earth promo - it really helps keep things fresh!

I notice you don't mention the Traders !!

I am sure it wasn't intentional and I'd hate to see anyone nitpicking faults and omissions in what was clearly meant to be a very positive post. I think it can be reasonably assumed that Hidden Earth is extremely thankful to the traders... yourself included... who made the main hall such a great place and who offered a great variety of items from books, art and caving equipment.

Yeah well done everyone. I know it's a lt of work from a lot of people. It was great, like it always is, and all the more so after a few years without it, just to remind us that we do need such an event in our vicarious-potholing lives.
