Scoff is doing a talk on the 5th June (7.30pm) at the Blue Lagood Dive Centre (Leeds, Sheffield way) - cost is ?5 and having been to one of his talks before will give you a good insight into some of the work the CDG do (and have done over the years).

I went to one a few years ago and it is well worth it, covering some his own exploration and helping others as a support in some of the most challenging pieces of diving ever undertaken and the recent pushes in Pozo Azul, Covanera.

There's a few spaces left, so just thought I would let folks know on here.

The one with Dave Ryall too??  Was excellent, they are both great speakers.

Did you manage to get tickets? According to the facebook page, the talk is now full  :(

The venue held around thirty people and the talk was aimed mainly at scuba divers who probably knew very little about cave diving in the UK.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were 6 SUSS, 1 BPC and 3 CDG members (plus a couple of partners) in attendance so I felt like I was playing to a 'home' crowd.

Hopefully the talk was informative, interesting and mildly entertaining.

And in the Q&A session at the end, someone did ask about near do's...so I then had to relate the tale of Mrs Goggins in full! (so there, Mr Seddon :tease:.)

Oh, and never believe what people put in a flyer (some of it didn't come from me).
