Well I quite enjoyed this... could it be some kind of record for longest time between first and second editions of a newsletter?!

Hopefully we'll break the tradition next year! Haha. Glad you enjoyed the read tho, just thought it would be interesting to put together something to show some of what we're up to.

It's not currently online - there's only one and a half copies known to exist but I do have photos of it all. If you give me a bit I can put it in pdf form and put it here too

I'm afraid the PDF for the entire newsletter is too big but if you pm me your email I'll happily send it across. I may also be in the BCA library as well but don't quote me on that one. The above image refers to the outcome from the link that was sent:)

That cheers me up. I remember inquiring at the time and being told we had no reply. Mrs Trellis was involved in this matter. Aber uni CC (at that time UCWCC) was a bit shambolic, it was generally believed that the "5" in the middle of the badge indicated the number of active cavers.

In 1970 Aber CC employed a bit of lateral thinking to strengthen our position. One of our schoolgirls got hold of a load of Central Athletic Board certificates for the award of sporting colours and we awarded colours to all the active cavers...and a few others.
