UIS proposal for an International Day of Caves & Karst

UIS (International Union of Speleology) is trying to have the 13th September recognized as the International Day of Caves and Karst.

There appear to be trying to get letters of support from caving organisations and institutions for the day.

BCRA are aware of this and John Gunn helped to draw up the UIS proposal. BCRA are also sending a letter of support and have asked BCA if they would like to co-sign
