Or inappropriate English? Considering French only has a third of our words, it probably makes sense to cut to the chase. And surely 'cottage' is French anyway? ;)

My job occasionally involves dispensing ice cream. You'd be amazed how many folk demand it, even in the filthiest of weather!

We have a family rule that your not holiday unless you have had an ice cream - its just a basic right for my daughter!
However you can also use that basis to make any day a holiday by simply having an ice cream - turns an occasional day out into a psychological vacation.
So next time you pass, if Pitlamp is dispensing then turn a day out into a holiday
Maybe it could turn a caving trip into an expedition?
