As you may all now be aware it is planned to auction JRats Land Rover on the evening of The Ratfest in Priddy Village Hall. So I thought a brief description and a few photographs would now be in order.
The Land Rover is a Defender 90 (300 TDi (Diesel) - 2495cc)
1997 P Registration
Speedometer Reading is 75543 this is believed to be genuine.
Although it was an "Insurance Right Off" following an accident in 2006 it was rebuilt by myself and a new chassis was installed. It was then taken for a DVLA Inspection and issued with a new Chassis Number/Registration and V5 and so far as I am aware was removed from The Register of Written Off Vehicles.
As of Monday 10Th November 2008 it will have 12 months MOT.
It could do with two new tyres on the front although they passed the MOT they are "low" on tread. There is no Service History (after all it did belong to JRat and it's not a Rolls Royce).
Contrary to some rumours and mis truths I have always have known where the V5 Document was (It was the previous MOT Certificate that was missing).
Obviously nobody would expect any bidder to turn up at The Village Hall on a Saturday night with thousands of pounds in their pocket and so The winning bidder will have 14 days in which to pay for and collect the Land Rover (assuming the Reserve Price is reached). Failing this it will sold to a local dealer who has already made me a serious offer.
Attached are some recent photographs - if anybody would like to view or Test Drive please do not hesitate to call me on 07970 210963.
The Land Rover will also be at The Village Hall for The Ratfest.
Please feel free to pass this email on to anybody you may think might have an interest.
