This post was prompted by the discussion in the diving section re neofleece suits. While I love Warmbac kit & have used it for about 20yrs., doe's anyone else think that their over suit sizing is a little odd? The legs seem too long and the body short, to the point where it presses on the shoulders & gives you a playfull nip in the groin, - also the zip seems a little too short so you can't get your arms in easily. I know I'm a bit of an odd shape for a caver but me buddies think the same & they aren't quite so odd!
I've been suffering from a bit of the same (self castration through arm lifting, bending over, etc) with my oversuit. I'm 5'11" and not very round at all, so went for a large. When the suit is stiff with dry mud, trying to cram myself in I do wonder if i've picked up someone else's buy mistake. They loosen up after a few mins moving about.
I think I'll simply consider trying on an XL when I buy my next one - but worried it might be too baggy. I wonder if they need a minus size as well as a plus, i'd consider an XL- suspect this isnt commercially viable though....
I also have a neofleece, size 42 i think. Fits perfectly.
Hughie - I'm intrigued by your suggestion, i hadnt even considered the possibility that they do them "tailored" !
