Watericicle gated section

I’m sorry I think this has been asked before but couldn’t find the thread!

The extension in Watericicle (up the ladder through the gate) is it still padlocked? I was told it may have been removed. Can anyone advise? Cheers

It is still gated, but arranging access with a leader is not a problem - see here for details:

I'm going into Water Icicle on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, my leader for the extensions can no longer make it.
Are the South Passage extensions any good?
Or, I know its short notice but are there any other key holders on here that may be available for a PM trip this Friday.

Yes, definitely worth looking at. The gate is to protect sediments rather than just the formations. The formations in the South Passage are similar.

Yes definitely worth a visit. Does anyone know if the dig at the end of the extension ever conclude?

We spent five years trying to dig through "Oh No! Choke" but it just didn't want to yield! We moved on to other things but may take another look one day.
