Visited the tunnel today at about 10am.
Wellys needed for water and icky mud on entrance before the dam after which is just water not very deep as long as you walk on the sides and not in the dip in the middle. Strange brick 'pool' just inside about 2ft deep. The tunnel isnt very high, I was stooping a lot and I am only 5'4. Various supports put in some way down the middle. We fed and watered the panther, nice little kitty really... Took a couple of tunnel shots which I hope to point url's to or upload to the gallery later, sadly only two pictures take as the camera was dropped by its owner and the lens inside went all wobbly, not a cheap camera but a very professional one, should be repairable. We didnt spent a lot of time in the tunnel, we left, the gate was locked on exit.
We also located goatchurch cavern were we met the mighty Andy Sparrow, appologies to the chap trying to give a briefing I intrupted. Nice to meet you Mr Sparrow Sir
We ambled in following behind the group for our first look (not really being cavers) nice place. I think I heard Cap 'n Chris's voice!? at one point! We did a little loop inside coming out of the Tradesmans's entrance with the help of the rope I asume the group behind us had installed. Enoyed that, will be returning!
