Wow. I'm impressed I got that one. It's many years since I was last in Juniper.

Try this one then. Not much to go on, but the tiny figure on the rope is performing a "manoeuvre".

A small clue: the caver’s light is not visible. Could it be shining round the corner into a perpendicular rift?

That's the one Ian. The 1st pitch on the Flyover route below the Main Chamber. Where there's a tricky little rebelay hidden just around the corner.

To keep the ball rolling, here's one for you to try. I suspect that there are very few Dales cavers who haven't descended this pitch.

Sell Gill 2nd pitch?

Very good! I didn't think anyone would recognise it without its plethora of hangers. I'm not sure that I would like to go down that ladder without a lifeline; nor would I like to be perched on the ledge like that. I reckon I could manage the leaning-against-the-wall-looking-nonchalent part, though.

I do fancy caving in one of those caps though! A waterproof version would keep you dry on any pitch.

Seems like the perfect chance to throw it back to @Ian P ... if he has something for us. Otherwise I'll post something tomorrow.

Another fascinating picture. I recognised it straight away but rm128 got there first.

The bloke on the right with hands in pockets looks a bit like a young "Buzzer" (Frank Butterfield). But, not knowing the provenance of that photo, I may be wrong. From the clothing it may be before Buzzer's time.

Unfortunately, there is no associated date. It's probably one of Cymmie's.

Maybe it is a young Buzzer then; he was with the BSA for some time before jumping ship to the early 'Pennine.

Good quality image isn't it?
