Afraid not. It feels like Thistle is getting much closer, but in reality (as the crow flies) it's only slightly closer than Yordas/Slanting.

Not LJ I'm afraid, although I can see where you're coming from. You're actually getting colder. Think 3 Peaks.

I'm probably talking crap, but upstream Hardrawkin (High Douk, is it called?)?
In my experience... gained purely via this excellent forum... you rarely talk crap. It is indeed upstream Hardrawkin, and it is indeed called High Douk. It’s a great little trip if your novices want a bit more after Great Douk.

Very kind...

I'm in the Styx (Arnside, to be precise) this week, so would someone else be good enough to pick up the baton, please?

I shall jump in with this.
1st clue. Don't let the lack of SRT kit fool you(depending what time of year you go of course);)

I thought that guess may come along Langcliffe.

Right area of the system but not the start of the Whitsun series.

Yep, Whitsun series but where?
This name of this area is associated with the Ingleborough estate. The line of stubby stalactites(just visible) along the floor is a clue.
