I find that OK, the current fixed rope in the 88 is much worse to get off.Yep. Alex is correct. It can be a struggle on the way up.
Yes, the top climb down to it. It was too wet for us to even climb down.Is it the top of The Tube?
Pippikin and Nippikin Pots? - obviously before the extensions!
Bottom of Boxhead. On the direct (low-level) route to the base of Lyle Cavern.Where is 'The Tube'?
We came here from Notts 2, our plan was to get into Lost Johns streamway without SRT at all, but we got stopped here due to the water levels.Bottom of Boxhead. On the direct (low-level) route to the base of Lyle Cavern.Where is 'The Tube'?

Apologies for the digression. Was the water level ok at the duck between Fourways Chamber and the bottom of Cresta Run?We came here from Notts 2, our plan was to get into Lost Johns streamway without SRT at all, but we got stopped here due to the water levels.
Yes I did not notice anything too bad, the water levels were not massively high, i.e. Notts 2 streamway although was quite strong was no where near dangerous, this was a few months ago. The duck seemed to be exactly the same level as normal, I suspect it's filled with percolation water.Apologies for the digression.
