Chimney flue on Grassington moor?

Same cave, different entrance as shown on OS map and KCYD.

It is a flue, but not Grassington Moor. How well do you know your flues?

There is quite a major cave (of sorts) within a kilometre.

Clue time. It's right next to a well preserved smelt mill.

A guess as I haven't been to this place but is it by the smelt mill above Grinton?

Correct. It is the Grinton Smelt Mill flue. Devis Hole Mine Caves are about 400m metres away with quite a long inclined oil drum entrance.

By the bridge nearby, a lot of water emerges from a recently engineered hole on the side of the river.

Why has a seagull crapped on the wall, or has somebody gone a bit overboard with the tipex? The way the roof is peeling like that I would guess Goyden/New Goyden.
