When I ask my wife this question she always tells me that her last slave died of a sound whipping when they did not do as they were told. I've never dared to enquire further.

One of my home built Gibson kit slaves just stopped working for no discernible reason one day. I tried fresh batteries (the usual suspect when they stop working) but no joy. The other one I built at the same time still works fine.

That was so funny, but even funnier than that was when you were toying with the idea of going in after it

I should admit that my slave was bought in the early 1980s, and isn't actually a new fangled device.
