Well done to Paul but there are two answers to this conundrum  :beer2: the end of Tennyson's Walk on the IoW is Alum Bay, hence Alum Pot.

Ah but did Maud go down OFD? Anyway good clue - had me reading some ALT for the first time in my life. He says he went caving in Maud: a Monodrama and he cried and cried and cried - must have seen one of my digs.
