Joe90. When I view the image on my HTC, the RHS of the photo is cropped. However, when viewed on my laptop I see the whole of the car and the Bride changing the front wheel.
Perhaps that is what you don't get?

They are deliberately blowing the rocks it would seem (if I read it right)! Note how they have dug around the pylon to minimize the chance of a hit!

I think they're deliberately blowing the rocks now to break them up and stop any more big ones coming down and doing more damage.
