Cave Converter gets a graphical user interface
« on: October 14, 2015, 02:58:17 pm »
A new version (20151014) of my Cave Converter tool is now available, and for the first time can be run as a desktop application (e.g. It has a graphical front end so you can browse for files, open and tweak them and then convert them).

Cave Converter converts between various cave survey file formats. It enables users of DistoX devices to get their existing data into PocketTopo, and their new survey data out of PocketTopo and into Survex format. Plus it enables migrating survey data from one program to another. The program can run on Windows, Linux or Mac computers.

Help and the download link can be found on the Cave Converter home page. Source code is available under a GNU GPLv3 license.
