Rich Mountains of Lead-The metal Mining Industry of Cwm Rheidol and Ystumtuen by Ioan Lord, published by Vale of Rheidol Railway.

I have just bought copies of this book for myself and my Caving club and whilst I have not read it yet to provide a review, I can tell that on flicking through it, the book is an excellent addition to any caver?s library. It?s a bit expensive at ?45 but gives 272 A4 pages of brief historical fact, modern exploration accounts, surveys and excellent photos of the metal mines around Cwm Rheidol and Ystumtuen in Mid Wales. I bought mine from Mike Moore and Vale of Rheidol Railway also sell them.
Ioan Lord is to be commended for writing and publishing this excellent book.
