I have just learned that Tim Lyons (ex UBSS) has passed away. Many of you of a certain age will remember him with fondness. He ended his career in New South Wales as a Professor of Pathology in the field of forensic science. As a caver he was active on early Mulu trips and I caved with him throughout the UK, Morocco and France. I am sure many more will have tales to tell of his exploits.
