Who took this pic?

I contacted Jack who then put me in contact with a caver at the Craven who told me, via a contact, that he had just shared it.

Fun and games Paul!

I recall sharing that picture on my timeline, from a post by David Lancaster on the Descent Caving Group, the photo was credited to Jill Eccleston. Gives you more people to ask if nothing else

I'm pretty sure the picture was taken by one of Jill's brothers - I've contacted them to see which one it was and passed on the OP's request.

Cheers

It was one of Jill's brothers you are right! We spent a very happy hour in the New Inn yesterday discussing the pic, quick interview and now I have the pic in my possession.

A donation will be made to CRO too.

Many thanks to everybody who helped track Roger down. I am a happy man.

Incidentally, we worked out, based on the dimensions in Northern Caves 2 that Hull Pot would have had a maximum of 29,160,000 litres of water in it that day.

Now obviously, it's not rectangular but staggering all the more!

Thanks to all!
