Darren drums . New or previous use?
« on: September 10, 2019, 06:54:28 pm »
I once got told that Darren drums used to be used for transporting pig sperm before being then sold on to the caving community? Was this just a pub / club hut story or tru?
Thanks

Pub story.

These drums are from general chemical/industrial transportation origin.
The original company who "invented" them is CurTec, I think from the Netherlands...

Definitely a pub story. No point transporting pig semen all mixed together in large quantities; you'd lose any genetic control.
