There's going to be quite a few cavers in Kendal this weekend as the Kendal Mountain Festival is in full swing. Already the Underground Session on Friday night is just about sold out - which is great for our sport.
But did you know there is another caving event on Saturday and its free. In the tented city of Basecamp, at the Brewery Arts Centre, you'll find the Columbia Stage. Between 12.45 and 1.15pm Saturday, Frank Pearson and Steph Dwyer will be on stage telling caving tales of daring do and trying to encourage a healthy interest in our sport. Give it a try if you are in the area.
