Hillwithy Cave, Fairy Cave Quarry

I did a quick photo trip in Hillwithy this week. It's a sad little remnant of roomy passage previously part of Withyhill before the quarry separated them and linked to Hilliers Cave by presumably mucky sumps and chokes.
Just passed here was sumped last week. Thin eroded beds close to the Clifton Down - Hotwells Limestone transition.

Saw this in my quarry ramblings. Is it a fossil ?

Well, you have not had a photo splodge for a while. Still far too few images on here. Doing some video now. More like Laurel and Hardy. My fellow cavers just cant take it seriously. If ever I find out how to edit and post them you may see them one day.

Is your last picture a Septarian Nodule that has been engulfed by Limestone a very long time ago ?

I may be a bit off the mark here and no doubt others, more expert than me, will chime in, but I reckon it's an orange latex working glove.
