New extensions aren't related to the link to 24, report on both should be in next Descent.

Bound to be a bit controversial as some of the digging team have not seen it yet.
You could say that includes me, Jim Durston, Ray Stead and Tony Boycott as we started it 40 years ago come January 2021.

I got into trouble for posting this so no further comments (the information was out on the web though). If you want to know why you need to contact the diggers themselves and nobody else.

Due to lockdown there are no trips going in.

Funnily enough, there are quite a lot of people who want to see it, including a couple of the digging team, so it's going to take a while...

BIG WELL DONE to the team that dug this connection....are there more leads to dig in 24 now you are able to get there by a dry route?

Hi,
living 'up north' and a non diver Wookey (probably the best cave name in the world) has never been high on the radar..........until now. Assuming access in 2021 will improve, how do you go about getting permission to go on a sporting trip?

Cheers

If your Forum name is remotely self-descriptive then it's safe to say you ain't going to get there and back unless it's significantly enlarged.

Wookey just appears to be a corruption of Celtic ogof, so wookey hole cave is a 3 part tautology...

Access depends on state of covid, so best to wait & see how it pans out I'm afraid.
