Cave in Biggin Dale

Out walking today I visited a cave in the lower part of Biggin Dale, on the true left bank of the dale. It's marked on the OS map but I can't find any reference to it in any of my editions of COPD. There was a definite sound of water dripping from deep within. Anyone have any information please?

I know the one you mean, as you surmise, it is a trial level. Its echo belies its size!

The entrance and size of passage makes it look quite impressive but it really is very short trial on a calcite vein.

The combination of pickwork and drill holes is quite interesting though.

I'll take a couple of snaps next time I go down the dale. I can see Dale Head from my window so its well within a local lockdown walk.
