• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Alan Kelly - Anglesey Area

I have been asked to post this sad news on behalf of a non-caving Friend.

Alan Kelly sadly passed away last week.  He ran a micro brewery on Anglesey and was involved with the Parys Underground Group.  He also caved around the rest of the UK.  Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Alan once, he was one of life's good guys.  Perhaps if anyone has any thoughts or memories of Alan to share, they could do so below and I will pass them on to the family.

His funeral will be held on Thursday 2nd Dec at 12 noon.  It will take place at Bangor Crematorium.

That is very sad news. I knew Alan well for a time though haven't seen him much for the past few years due to family commitments.
He always told a good story with a smile and a laugh.
Please pass on my regards David
