Nig,

Party from SUSS got lost attempting Grand Circle and ended up in Maytime / Priory Road. Located and escorted out by GCRT with help from WBCRT. 17.5 hours underground. They were tired but in good spirits and glad to be out.

As Dan says. Got the call at 10 past midnight and got back to bed by about 8.30 am! The 3 were found in good spirits but tired and a bit short of light. Never seen so many bats in the entrance series before, made laying the comms cable a bit of a challenge.

What a way to spend your 40th birthday, won't forget that one in a hurry

1.20 we signed into the cave entrance. Were you one of the 2 lads waiting at the entrance then? I was in the cable laying team....and yes we took pride in our work and made damn sure the cable was well fixed ;D

better than being in the way I guess. Bacon sarnies! I didn't see any bacon sarnies..
