I've had a lot of emails ending up in my catch all inbox recently because people have been replying to a PM notification email.

At the top of this email it says clearly: "do not reply to this email"

If you have recently done this, the intended recipient of your reply will never have got it.

You need to log into the site and send them a PM from the site. You cannot reply to PMs from your email client.
