Hi all,

Anyone know where I can get a 20 Cell 3A Nimh charger which runs off mains? Someone has lent me a Hitec one which will do upto 5A, 24 cells - but is a 'field' charger so it only runs of 15-9v input whilst I want to run it off mains elec.

Why not ust one like the Hitec and just get a 12V power supply from somewhere like Maplins or Farnel? This way you can also use it when you are in the 'field', or in your car.

hmm.... could do except that would cost me ?24 and then when I've returned the Hitec one I'll need to buy my own - for ?40...
If I can find the 20 Cell 3A Nimh charger for mains and it is less that ?64 - i'd rather do that.

What is this charger for?
Is it always going to be used with a 20-cell pack, or with various kinds of loads?

I've actually managed to find the Hitec charger for ?25 and a 12V 10A supply for similar so pretty happy with that overall.
