    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Is up North still like this? :-)

An excellent skit - but skit it is 'cos it had to be dumbed right down to make it accessible to southerners!  :tease:

Yes, a very good skit, had me in stitches the first time - and every time I've seen it since.

But it's a skit; for something nearer the truth, see the short announcement below.  ;)

"At last the 1948 show" hasn't been screened since it was originally broadcast:

Hang on which is it, is the show from 1948 or is it from 1971 (48 years ago) it can't both. The article itself further confuses things as both calling it the 1948 and 1967 show?. I guess it was lost either 4 years later than 1967 or found 4 years ago in 2015 or a bit of A and B. Basically is it coincidence that a show called 1948 was lost exactly 48 years before 2015 in 1967????....

Umm, yes... Possibly not a coincidence that it was news in 2015!

I'm lost. Was that broadcast with reference to laden or unladen swallows? If said swallow was 48yrs old would that age affect carrying capability vis a vis the coconut (migratory or non-migratory)?
