A blog (shortening of ?weblog?) is an online journal or informational website displaying information in the reverse chronological order, with latest posts appearing first. It is a platform where a writer or even a group of writers share their views on an individual subject.

Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between a forum, website and blog. The above summarises the meaning of blog. Many blogs come and go or lie moribund on the internet. Some are closed and you have to sign up for access. Probably some on my list are more website than blog. Remember anyone can set up a blog and be aware that there can be malware or adware lurking there.
