We had an enjoyable trip yesterday in LNRC but noticed a large loose boulder which on the way in is on the left not far from the oxbow before canal bypass. I suspect many people use this as a handhold or even sit on it (as my son did  :o) to get past. On inspection it looks like it is coming...

I am in the market for a new oversuit, can anyone share their views/experience with the Alp Design Bitex? I am prone to overheating so a lightweight suit would be ideal for me on most trips although durability is also important for Mendip caving.

We had a good trip down Rhino on Saturday, however the lock is hard work and there is no chain (or tape) on the first pitch. The latter makes rigging interesting, we used a chain of maillons which worked really well. Does anyone know when the chain is being fitted and can someone give the lock...
