Anyone know what the bad air/pollution in knotlow's like of late?

Apologies for picking everyone's brains but me and a mate are planning a trip and might be heading down knotlow. The DCA cave registry description seems pretty bleak but it seems like it varies from time to time, so if anyone's been down there recently any info on the pollution/bad air would be grand. Apologies if this has been asked before but if it varies it will help to have up to date info.

Cheers,

Will

No problem climbing route to waterfall chamber 30th march  a warm sunny day. enjoy and report  eh? O.G.

AFAIK the air in Knotlow has generally been OK in recent years, since the farm stopped dairying and hence producing lots of slurry that was washing down into the mine and upping the carbon dioxide levels. :yucky:

Pretty sure that there will be some info in the Cave Atmosphere Monitoring section of the latest DCA minutes now online:

Knotlow has been good for some time now but caution is still advised as is knowledge of how to spot symptoms / signs of poor air.
