ActionStash - caving gear shop

Hi all :)

Just wanted to mention our shop ActionStash in case it's useful to any folks - offering some more affordable options to the caving gear market in the UK. Owned and run by a caving couple in Lancashire, we've got a selection of tackle bags, oversuits, wetsocks and a few other bits and bobs, and will be expanding the range shortly.

We offer free shipping on orders over £40, and you can pay by card or crypto.
For UKCaving users, we've set up the discount code UKC5 which will give a £5 discount on any order over £50.

Happy adventures!

I have to ask, have you generated some of the images using AI - those pencil-drawing/etching style ones? They're quite spooky!

Correct Ari :) I described the anguish of a caving trip to it in the most Northern Caves language I could - tortuous, revolting, austere grandeur etc.!

A few points about your web site. "Contact us" - is your phone number really "123456789"?

The Companies Act 2006 requires that Companies in the UK must include certain regulatory information on their websites. I can find no mention of either company registration number or office address. Also, there is no company called "ActionStash" registered at Companies House.

Finally, the "Get in touch" link on the FAQs page is broken.
Thanks for the feedback Alan, those broken bits are sorted. As for the company details, we're only a sole trader for now which explains why we don't show up on Companies House/have no Reg. no. etc. Hoping to move to limited company status soon! I've added our VAT registration number now though.

If you get the black reinforced Landjoff oversuit in stock at any point, I could be quite tempted - I've had a standard one for several years now and it's held up pretty well but I'd been thinking about getting the reinforced one to replace it.

If you can get the Extreme Cordura too, I would be tempted, given the description. And it's orange ;)

@AR That might be the Cordura Plus one we stock (although only in red) - it's the only Landjoff suit that's available in black. There is the Cordura Extreme (with Cordura 1000 instead of 500) but they only produce it in orange.

And yes we're hoping to import some of the Cordura Extremes in our next restock, I can send you an 'in stock' PM if you like @pwhole. Also the PVC suits for the kinky folk ;)

I just copied the above into Google translate 😕

"My friend, from the time of the transition from underwear to neoprene, for more than 25 years, I have been living in a cave for long hours and camping only in dry trilaminate and under the medicine and socks as from a baby lamb, believe me it is stronger than cordura and above all !!! You are completely cool and dry throughout your stay in the cave, which is quite important for a hypothermic deathhead for all those who go to the cave to dig, measure, take pictures, and above all to dig, and further discoveries ahead."
