I've discovered that, with the AI Image generator I was using, it responds better to phrases than to single words. I was hoping to get something from hard raw kin, but didn't get anywhere till I tried hard raw family, and got a really nasty set of individuals for some reason naked. But I didn't think that was guessable.
So I tried Gunner fleet ... no luck. "Many ships" instead of fleet at least got a single ship into the picture, eventually I got something approximating a fleet through "20 boats" (although there aren't 20 boats in the picture). The gunner was trickier -the AI didn't know what to make of gunner, and absolutely refused "man with gun" with the message "this includes unsafe content". "man with rifle" was ok. So according to this AI, Gunnerfleet should have been called "20 boats and man with rifle".

On the subject of prompting AI, when asking it for "grey wife", I had to explicitly ask for it to add clothes. Before that some of the images were not only NSFW but grotesque.

Asking it for "husband" resulted in this. The training images used from the internet are clearly highly sexist.

Thanks Kay. Your last sentence reminded me instantly of my father's anecdote, having visited a site in China where HMS Amethyst had been scuttled, IIRC, and the Chinese interpreter rendered the vessel's name as "Trouble-making Imperial Battleship they call the Purple Stone ".
