Your last sentence reminded me instantly of my father's anecdote, having visited a site in China where HMS Amethyst had been scuttled, IIRC, and the Chinese interpreter rendered the vessel's name as "Trouble-making Imperial Battleship they call the Purple Stone "....according to this AI, Gunnerfleet should have been called "20 boats and man with rifle".
