Hey all!
Over the past year, the British Caving Association has seen remarkable growth and enthusiasm within our youth caving community. This surge in young cavers has sparked a renewed passion for development and innovation in our sport.
Summary
To continue nurturing this youthful (Cresh) energy, i have established five new subgroups within the Youth & Development Working Group:

- Inclusivity and Access: Ensuring caving is accessible to everyone, regardless of background, ability, or experience.
- Higher Education: Connecting with universities and colleges to promote caving as an enriching extracurricular activity.
- Scouts and Youth Caving: Collaborating with scouting organizations to introduce young people to caving through structured, safe, and educational experiences.
- Caving Club Youth Representatives: Integrating young cavers into established clubs and providing mentorship to develop their skills and confidence.
- Development and Innovation: Advancing the sport through new technologies, training methods, and sustainable practices.
