There is a meeting to dig Crater Chamber in the main Goyden system this Saturday 31st. Anyone interested please let me know. This is a most interesting dig, we travelled to the dig expecting to dive a sump, only to find the sump gone. No one had dived the sump before so we are in virgin territory.
The next weekend dig is November 27th and 28th.

End of passage heading out south west away from the heart of the Goyden system. Sand tunnel starts near Old Year passage not far from the 10ft climb along this to a junction, right goes to the 20ft pitch/Labyrinth while left goes into Clay tunnel leading to Telegraph aven. Beyond Telegraph aven a passage leads to 9m pitch into Crater chamber

We have digging meet planned for Friday 27th in the evening. All day Sat 28th. Meeting in The Crown car park for breakfast at 8.30 am. We are digging in Dead Dog Dig in the Goyden system , weather permitting. Alternative cave trip will be arranged if too wet. We plan to stay for a band at the village hall on Sat night. Sleeping in cars or camping.

Over 60 buckets of stones rocks and boulders removed from Guscott pot main sink on 9th June. Solid floor heading down at 45 degrees.
