I opened my pelicase recently after rediscovering it. It used to contain a first aid kid. It now contains a horrifying collection of mould, fungus and other spore-like lifeforms. Hmm.

... which brings me to another line of thought: who has ever needed to use first aid on a caving trip and, if so, what item of kit did you need to use?

The only thing I have ever found useful while underground are the sterile water tube-packs which are great for washing grit of your eyes and which I take on every trip.

Peli cases are the business - I bought one when we were digging a lot in Bagshawe in order to record the dig. They are super-tough, will float and are easy to clean after you've been underground.

They certainly do float, one of the flashes in this picture is floating on a pelicase.

:D Glad you liked the Pelicase Stupot :D

I find them a bit angular which means they tend to grind holes in tackle sacks, bit of a Darren Drum fan myself but Pelicases are very well made.
