Cave Expedition Training April 13/14th 2024

What: the original cave expedition training weekend, running since 2001.
Where: based at the amazing Depot of the Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group in the beautiful Forest of Dean (next door to Cinderford Ambulance Station).
When: 13/14th April 2024
Content to include: cave surveying, prospecting, basic & advanced SRT, rigging, self-rescue, kit selection, cave radios, emergency protocols, first aid, etc...
For whom: cavers of any experience & ability levels who want to broaden their skills & knowledge. Priority given to those joining the summer expedition to the Dachstein but others are welcome if space available.
By whom: veterans of the finest exploration project in the world will be there to guide, advise & assist.
Cost: £30 for the weekend; £20 for one day
Accommodation (camping/limited floor space/parking for vans) included, along with two breakfasts and two lunches.
Saturday dinner is likely to be a large chip shop order (not included in the price).

Now earlier in the year to avoid Uni exams etc., but currently we have smaller numbers than previous years (which means more training for you).
