Actually Caving Supplies first operated from a garage in North Cheam, very close to where I used to live in Worcester Park, Surrey. I can remember paying a weekend visit from Derbyshire to my Mum and Dad's house just so I could nip up the road and buy some of the new batteries they had just brought into the country. Can't recall when they moved up to the better part of England and came to Buxton, leaving behind the benighted South East.But initially opened elsewhere as a business, before moving to Buxton, I seem to remember, from an old receipt in club records years ago.
I remember visiting CS in Cheam (or North Cheam) in early 1976 for my first wetsuit, they moved north soon after.
