Caving Wish List For 2025

Well for a start to get another active year in at my advanced age. I did 64 trips in 2024 and would love to at least match that.

Top of the list is to see a return to The Frozen Deep if the Reservoir Hole access is restored. Also hopefully to remain on the wardens list or whatever they decide.

Here we are whan my son came over from Australia. Just us two with minimum photo set up.

To find the mythical caverns at The Hole In The Wall.

To find significant new cave at Fairy Cave Quarry.

To follow the draught at Aisholt.

Also as ever to blatter caving images all over the internet . As you see I have already managed 32 images in just this one post.

Top of my list for the wet season is to break throughout at at Rickford, then pass the underwater cave to discover the Burrington mastercave.

Once the weather dries out another few kilometers in Redhouse would be nice!

I'd also like to make a few sporting trips during the year. I can't remember the last time I went for a jolly underground just for the sake of it.

Just getting caving! between various lurgy, miserable weather and friends wanting to have a non-caving life, I felt I didn't get on very many trips last year. Already cancelled the first trip this year with the same combination as above.
