Love the Survey, Glad you were able to get the pitches working, so on the plan you can see the colour of the passage below.

Soooo...... as one "not in the know" I infer that you are near to connecting to a natural system somewhere under Eyam the name of which is an anagram of "Mood".

It's no secret that there are large sections of natural cave deep under Eyam that have been accessed through various routes (which ideally i don't want discussed or published online). Nor any secret that in 2012 a big section of cave&mine was found that was named Doom, which has proved to be part of the missing link between Hungerhill and Carlswark.

Thanks for that - yet more evidence of how much big natural is under the surface but sealed off by glacial debris chokes and the like.

What a pot it is turning out to be. The more it doesn't connect the bigger the pot gets so you win both ways
Well done team

Are people allowed into Cussey Pot at the moment? Don't want to go in if the finders don't want people in there right now.

Really interested to have a look!

Cussey is on private land and no formal agreement has been negotiated as yet, so please stay away for the time being,

Thanks

The trip we?ve been working towards since last June has finally arrived. After over 40 trips, through bravery, ignorance and stupidity, driven on only by the appetite for glory and reliable pre-beers, last night we connected Cussey Pot to Doom. Great work team.  (y)

Fantastic news well done to the team.....enjoy pushing the leads in Doom. Slight pity Cussey is not a bit easier for your access to dig there but sure you will push on.
