An interesting look at how the underworld of caving was seen during the late 1940?s. Treats include early surveys, legends, folklore, smugglers and, of course an insight into some significant UK caving areas from that era. Although the advice is a little dated, the non-political commentary is a joy.
Splendid addition to any caver?s library.
